On Feb. 6, 2021, Carrie V. Hagenbuch, of Danville, passed away at the age of 90 at the Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born Oct. 8, 1930, on Liberty Street, Milton, to Joseph O. Sr. and Nellie Mae (Peifer) Welliver. She married William R. Hagenbuch on March 14, 1946, in Hagerstown, Md. and spent 61 years together before his death on Aug. 5, 2007, at Liberty Valley Road, Danville.

She worked at Milton Shoe for 34 years and retired from Perkins and Coles Hardware Restaurant in Danville.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Viola M. Hagenbuch on May 12, 2017. Also her siblings, Catherine Lower, Mildred Shrawder, Grace Rager, Margaret Dunkle, Elda Pardoe, Joseph Welliver Jr., Donald Welliver, Lee Welliver, and Nancy Heller.

She is survived by daughters, Frances I. (George) VanKirk, and Wilma R. (Larry) Stevenson; grandsons, William R. Smith and companion Regina Malinoski, and Christopher J. (Wendy) Smith; great-granddaughters, Cassandra R. Smith, Hunter Latranyi, and Jacquelyn E. Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Carrie was a member of Oak Grove Lutheran Church, Danville. She was the heart of her family. Carrie was an avid bowler for more than 50 years and she enjoyed the companionship of her many different cats over the years.

Burial will take place at her church at a later date that is convenient for the family.
