Mrs. Charles Beam of Illinois was in contact with me in early 1980s? but I have no info as to her husband. She first gave me a possible birthdate of 1835 for Caroline, but I have later note that birthdate is 1837. 1870 Columbia County, PA census is c1834 with husband G. A. (George Adam b. 1820) and children Martha, 7; Aletha, 3; and “Eddie” (George Edward), 11/12 mos. In 1869, George Adam and Carline lived on Front St. in Berwick, owning apothecary two doors up on corner. They moved to Iowa in 1878 then to Kinmundy vicinity (Illinois in a year or two after that. 1900 census has a Caroline Beam living in Berks County, c1834 birthdate, but no one else on that page has first names that fit this Beam family. Caroline’s husband, George Adam Beam, is buried at Kinmundy in Illinois, but she is not there, but there is a daughter, Martha Kennedy, buried with him. 1880 Illinois census has her living with George Adam and two children Mattie and Edward at Tonti, Marion County, Illinois
