It is known that William (b. 1809) had a son William per the 1860 and 1870 censuses. His birthdate is often listed as 1849 which is wrong. This is thought to be wrong because on the 1850 census for Springfield, Ohio he is not listed. This means the count may have been done before he was born (it was done in May). When he died in May of 1919, he was listed as 68 years old. This likely means he was born after may and Findagrave is wrong.1
