Gertrude and husband Francis Eugene Hagenbuch lived in Kansas. It is said he worked in a store and was also an undertaker’s coachman. On his death certificate it is listed he was an “undertaker” and died of “ataxia” at Williamsport Hospital. He came back to visit family and died in Pennsylvania, story is told on Hagenbuch webiste “One Silver Dollar”. Gertrude supposedly went back to Kansas and married a second time.
