Eudora Weekly News - 29 April 1910. p. 5.

Mrs. Clara Richtermeier, wife of August Richtermeier, died quite suddenly at her home, three miles east of here, last Sunday about noon. She was 44 years old. Death was due to blood poisoning caused by several carbuncles. Mrs. Richtermeier had been sick only a few days, but no one considered her conditions as critical until Sunday morning and her death came as a great shock to everyone in the community. She is survived by a husband, three children, Ralph, Frank and Nettie Hagenbuch, six step-children, an aged mother, Mrs. Lavo, a sister, Mrs. Brocker of Lawrence, and one brother, William Lavo of Kansas City. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Lutheran Church, Rev. Koelbing officiating. A large crowd paid tribute to her life by their presence and she was laid away in the Eudora cemetery to await the Resurrection morn.

Clara was buried with her first husband, Jacob Hagenbuch.
