Arthur J. Weiler, Jr., age 78, of Sinking Spring, passed away Saturday, December 17th, 2011 of natural causes at his residence.
He is survived by his companion, Elizabeth A. “Betty” Leinbach. They resided together since 1969.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Arthur J. Weiler, Sr. and the late Grace (Strosser) Weiler.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Arthur was employed by 7-Up and Vanity Fair for 30 years and previously worked for the Reading Railway Company.
He attended St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sinking Spring, was a life member of the Sinking Spring Fire Company, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to his companion he is survived by a niece, Diane Cusimano and her fiance Jerry Gehret; and two nephews, Kevin Leinbach and his wife Cherokee, and Bruce Leinbach.
