Mildred Hisler, 93, of Silvis, formerly of Moline, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at her residence.
Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, where a Christian Wake service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday, at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery, Ottawa, Ill. Memorials may be made to Crosstown Square, Silvis.
Mildred was born Nov. 23, 1912, in Waltham Township, Ill., the daughter of George and Anna M. Billman Hisler.
Mildred was employed at the former Illinois Bell Telephone Co., as an operator, for 43 years, retiring in 1976.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, St. Mary’s Altar and Rosary Society, and the SBC Pioneers.

Survivors include a brother, Howard Hisler, Moline; nieces, Jean Hisler, Pat Miller, Deb Miller, Fern Saunders; and a great-niece, Lori Saunders. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and four brothers.
