Ruby A. Hisler, 84, of Moline, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at Parkview Terrace, East Moline.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline.
Visitation is 3-6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
The former Ruby A. Olson was born Aug. 27, 1918, in Avoca, Wis., the daughter of Morris and Olga Olson. She married Howard M. Hisler April 27, 1949, at Augustana Chapel, Rock Island.
Ruby graduated from Avoca High School, later moving to Milwaukee, Wis., where she graduated from Milwaukee Hospital Nursing School.
Mrs. Hisler was a registered nurse at the former Moline Public and Lutheran hospitals, both of Moline, and also worked as private duty nurse for many year.
Ruby was a member of First Lutheran Chruch, Moline.
Survivors include her husband, Howard; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Miller, Lincoln Park, Mich.; brother, David Olson, Muscoda, Wis. Ruby was preceded in death by sons, David and Joe.
