Oil Worker is Killed by Timber Fall
Lewis S. Erb 44-year old switcher for the Wofford Drilling Company., was injured fatally Sunday night when struck by a falling timber while working on an oil well in the 400 block East Grand Ave. His home as at 123 Southwest Thirty-third street. W.F. Haney 920 Southwest Twenty-fifth street, also an employee of the drilling company, and the only witness to the accident, barely escaped injury when the board fell. Erb is survived by his wife; a daughter, Ruby Erb, and three sons, Robert, James, and Jack Erb, all of the home address. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Hunter funeral home.
