Roy F. Reding, 95, Leland, died Sunday, June 7, at Pleasant View Luther Home. Burial will be in the Leland Cemetery.
Mr. Reding was born June 1, 1897, in Somonauk to John and Viola (Pierce) Reding. He married Mable Nelson on Jan 24, 1920, in Aurora. He was a member of faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa. He was employed at Leland Farmers Grain Company for many years.
He is survived by three sons, Lowell of Marseilles, Dean of Leland and Jack of DeKalb; and one sister, Hazel Meyer of Marseilles. He is preceded in death by his wife in 1977; a sister, Ruth Rompf, a brother, Floyd; and a granddaughter in infancy.
