Mary Hagenbuch (birth name unknown but was previously married to John Flick of Philadelphia) is believed to be the second wife of John Hagenbuch (b. 1763). This is based upon two things: 1. John’s first wife Magdalene Dreisbach dies in 1825. Yet in 1830 and 1840 he is living with a woman who is close to his age (marked in the same age bracket as him) on the census. 2. The “Historical and Biographical Annals of Columbia and Montour Counties” mentions Magdalene was John’s first wife. It never mentions a second but there must have been a second if it says “first wife.”
