Baptism found in First United Church of Christ Easton: Andrew Jackson Hagenbuch, Born 1/23/1832, Baptized 3/3/1832, Parents Jacob and Catherine, Sponsors were parents. Some information from Findagrave.1 Co. H 4th Ohio Cav, 1 Sept 1861 to 21 Jul 1862. Eventually found in Ohio with parents. 1880 census shows he is “married” but no wife is in the household. He is living with his parents.
Then, moves to St. Paul Minnesota. He is on the 1895 state census with his brother Christopher/Christian Hagenbaugh. They both appear to be soldiers. Their sister Leonora is nearby. One other Hagenbaugh is there: Charles William Hagenbaugh (b. 1862).
In 1900 he is in a home for disabled soldiers and listed as a widowers. Based upon this, it is believed he was married and had a son, Charles W. Hagenbaugh, who followed him to St. Paul.
