Existence is based upon the death certificates of two of her children who note that their mother’s name was “Rebecca Hagenbuch.” According to the 1850 census record which shows her husband as a widower, she died prior to 1850 but after her youngest was born in 1845. Her birthdate assumes she was around the same age as her husband but younger. This date also fits her into the Hagenbuch family tree with Christian (b. 1770) who lived in Columbia County, PA and had at least one child, Reuben, who moved to Luzerne County, PA.
