His second wife was Anna Unsicker, whom he married 22 Feb 1877 in Tazewell Co, IL. Father of Annie (1871) and Joseph (1878). After 1880, he married Bertha Schmidt. They had four children: Amelia (1881), Edward (1884), Charles (1892), and Walter (1898).1
