HAGENBUCH, Stephen P. ‘Rick’ 59, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1953 in Springfield the son of Stephen and Patricia (Madden) Hagenbuch. He had worked as a salesman for Heidelberg Distributing for over 30 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the B.P.O.E. #51. Survivors in addition to his mother; wife of 34 years, Kathy (Wilber); one son and spouse, Brian (Sarah) Hagenbuch, Springfield; two grandchildren, Andrew and Vanessa Hagenbuch; sister, Kay (Brent) McGee, Springfield; brothers-in-law, Dan (Sue) Wilber, Urbana and Keith Wilber, Virginia; father-in-law, Joe Wilber, N. Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Teresa Wilber. Rick had a very quick wit and a special, light-hearted humor about him. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating.1
