Polly is mentioned in the will of Christian Hagenbuch as receiving 166 pounds. She is unmarried. There is also a “Magdalena Hagenbuch” mentioned in the Zion Stone Church records. It is assumed this is Polly and that her full name is Maria Magdalena, hence “Polly” for Mary. This also distinguished her from her sister “Anna Maria” who appears to have gone by “Mary”.
She eventually married Joseph Kerr after the death of her father, Christian in 1812. She is buried with her husband.1
