Judith “Judy” Maryann (Hagenbuch) Mayer, 77, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Warminster, PA & Philadelphia, PA passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at The Community at Rockhill.
She was born in Allentown, PA to the late Oliver W. Hagenbuch and the late Ella (Messinger) Hagenbuch.
Judy attended Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout her working lifetime, she worked as a customer service representative for the former Pytronics in Montgomeryville, PA, for AEL in Colmar, PA, for Vertis in Chalfont, PA and for A&T Subaru/Chevy in Sellersville, PA.
She formerly attended Souderton Mennonite Church.
Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader who enjoyed dancing, swimming, listening to music, dining out and loved animals.
Judy was a loving and compassionate lady who had an infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by a former husband, George C. Mayer, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; a companion, Robert “Bob” Stewart of Souderton, PA; three daughters, Theresa “Terri” L. Mason & husband, Charles of Quakertown, PA, Lisa Mayer of Souderton, PA, Christina I. Walton & husband, Jeffrey of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren – Melissa, Brittney, Jenna, Heather, & Eric; a great-grandson - CJ; two brothers, Richard “Dick” Hagenbuch of Philadelphia, PA, Bruce “Buzz” Hagenbuch & companion, Marge of Philadelphia, PA and a sister, Jacqueline Esposito of Philadelphia, PA.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Hagenbuch and a sister, Bernice Madden.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Immanuel Leidy’s Old Church, 276 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964 from 10:00 am - 11:00.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at Immanuel Leidy’s Old Church, 276 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964.
Inurnment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA.1
