Jean was organist at Oak Grove Lutheran church in the late 1950s until about 1964. She was unmarried, played the accordion, and had part of her foot cut off in a lawn mower accident maybe in the 1970s. She lived in a trailer on the bottom part of her father’s farm, Cyrus Hagenbuch.
