Obituary from Findagrave.1 Centre Daily Times (State College, PA) - May 3, 2009: Alice R. Hagenbuch November 27, 1948 - April 30, 2009 Alice R. Hagenbuch, 60, of Lamar, died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Lock Haven Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1948, in Patton Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry S. and Margaret Bloom Houtz. On July 11, 1965, in State College, she married Percy W. Hagenbuch , who survives at home. Alice was a long-time employee of Murata Electronics and then worked at Skills of Central Pa., both in State College. She attended Lock Haven Assembly of God Church in Mill Hall, and enjoyed reading, puzzles and playing cards with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Percy W. (Melissa) Hagenbuch Jr., of Howard, and Steven R. Hagenbuch and his fiancee, April Lallave, of Bellefonte; a daughter, Alice Ann Long, of Lamar; two sisters, Bess Chronister and Connie Reed, both of State College; five brothers, Harry (Sonny) Houtz Jr., of Scotia, Luther Houtz, of Unionville, Robert Houtz, of State College, Ronald Houtz, of Bellefonte, and Merle (Dave) Houtz, of Centre Hall; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly J. Emel. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Washington Lutheran Cemetery, Washingtonville.
