Noted on the 1870 census for Champaign County, Ohio. Mentioned as “Joe” on son, Frank’s, death certificate.
He does not appear on the 1900 census and Lucy is marked as divorced. In later records she is marked as widowed. As a result, we will assume Joe died prior to 1900, though there is a chance he ran off and died later.
