Horace was a druggist in Mahanoy City, PA. Took over his father Charles’ business. He supposedly drank too much and wife Jessie left him. Louise Jeffers Hagenbuch of Carlisle, PA reported that they had two daughters.
Confirmed via the 1900 census that the two daughters were Anna R. and May P. Worked as a druggist in PA at that time.
