OTTAWA — Martha A. Whitcomb of Ottawa passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, at the age of 88.
Martha was born Dec. 9, 1923, to Louis Hagenbach and Ida Cole Hagenbach in Ottawa. She married Amos J. Whitcomb on Oct. 9, 1954 in Ottawa.
Martha Whitcomb is survived by her children: Sharon Basco and husband Joey of Louisiana, Marsha Weatherford and husband Ray of Fredericksburg, Texas; Fritz DeBolt of Fredericksburg, Bonnie McPhedran of Chicago, and John Whitcomb and wife Tina of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She will be cremated and her ashes buried in Ottawa.
