James Tyler Bennett, 19, of 6009 Hwy 24, died Saturday, May 22, 2010. Born March 28, 1991 in Anderson, he was the son of Steven Bennett, II and Kathy Bryan Major. He worked for Double D Farms. Surviving are his father, Steven Bennett, II; mother, Kathy Major; sister, Hannah Causey; step-brother, Jarred Major; two step-sisters, Jordan and Jennifer Major; paternal grandparents, Steven and Kristine Bennett; maternal grandparents, James and Mary Ann Bryan all of Anderson; two uncles, Richard Bennett (Heather) of Anderson and Steve Bryan (Chase) of Raleigh, NC. Graveside service will be held at 10am Wednesday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jack Couch officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8pm at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 Hwy 81 N. The family is at their respective homes.
