Obituary for King J. Knowles Graveside services for King J. Knowles, Jr., 71, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 in the DFW National Cemetery, Lane B. Reverend James Dawson will officiate. King J. Knowles, Jr. passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born October 23, 1935 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to King J. and Carrie Nero Knowles, Sr. He married Trina Billman on December 22, 1984 in Oklahoma City OK. Mr. Knowles was a repair/maintenance technician in the truck bed manufacturer industry. He was a member of the Christian Methodist Apostolic Episcopal Church and the American Legion. King J. Knowles, Jr. is survived by his wife, Trina of Cleburne; daughters, Diana Knowles Wilkerson (Clifford) of Dallas, Quenita Huel (Edward) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Sherri Hardman (Melvin) Oklahoma City, OK and Trista LeAnn Hamm (Trey) of Liberal,Kansas; sons, Otis Knowles of Oklahoma, OK, David Knowles (Jennie) of Oklahoma, OK, Jerry Knowles (Patricia) of Tulsa, OK, King “Buck” Knowles III (Stacey) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Terry Lee Knowles of Dallas; sister, Elisa Knowles Collins (Frank) ofBaton Rouge, LA; brothers, Robert Knowles of Spencer, OK, Larry Joe Knowles of Oklahoma, OK, Anthony Knowles (Dena) of Oklahoma, OK, Darrell Knowles (Shelly) of Norman, OK and Roy Danny Knowles (Kathy) of Oklahoma, OK; and number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Janet Knowles and two sisters, Patricia Knowles Stevenson and Donna Knowles Threatt. A wake service will be held on 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
