Harold E. Box Jr.’s family wish to inform friends and family of Harold’s passing. Harold was born on January 14, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma, and after a long illness with Multiple Sclerosis, Harold passed away peacefully while living at Grace Living Center in Edmond, Oklahoma on August 16, 2004.
Harold obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 1971. He was also a long-time resident of Liberal, Kansas, where he owned and operated a successful oil and gas company.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Tresha Box. He is also survived by two sons the oldest son, Trey and his family, wife Summer and daughters, Caitlyn and Kelsie, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and the youngest son, Bob and his family, wife Brandy and their children Brayden and Brynlee, of Albuquerque, New Mexico and his son Kyler, of Liberal, Kansas. Harold is also survived by his parents Gene and Helen Box, his brother David Box and family, all of Liberal, Kansas; his sister Sandy O’Riley and family of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Harold is further survived by in-laws, Robert and Joyce Billman of Edmond, Oklahoma. Likewise, Harold is survived by many more friends and family, too numerous to note.
Funeral services will be held at Baggerlery Funeral Home, in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, August 18th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. by Paul Box. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home at 930 S Broadway, Edmond, Oklahoma 73034, or the family would encourage donations to a local Multiple Sclerosis Chapter.
