Buried at Oak Grove Church Cemetery without husband Elias.
Findagrave:Tillie Hagenbuch became the second wife of Elias Reichard whose brother John Reichard was married to Tillie’s younger sister Emma. Tillie was in her forties in 1891 when she married. This was considered an “old maid” by the standards of the day. Such a late marriage meant no children from this union. After 11 years of marriage Elias died suddenly and Tillie was left homeless. Husband Elias left his property and most of his Estate to his only daughter Lizzie. Tillie then found a home with sister Emma Reichard on the Reichard farm along the Millville Road (Route 42) near Bloomsburg. Elias did leave Tillie with financial means.
