Cora is a bit of an unknown. Given her age, she likely was married to a Hagenbuch, rather than being born with the name. She doesn’t appear on the 1850 census either, at least in Carbon County where she is buried.
Based upon this, it seems like she may have been the widow of Stephen Hagenbuch (b. 1801). He was married and had a daughter per the 1830 census. However, this family unit is gone by 1840. For now, she is being added as his wife until other information proves otherwise.
