Information from The Michael Shoemaker book : (Schumacher), 1924, Williams T. Blair. Some argue that Rebecca (Crawford) Hagenbuch later remarried Isaac Creveling (b. 1820) after her husband, Ramsey, died. This is not believed to be correct. While the Rebecca on Isaac’s stone is buried near other Hagenbuchs, she appears to be Rebecca Hagenbuch (b. 1827) who was in a different group of Hagenbuchs. She is also nearly 10 years older than Ramsey which is an improbable match for the time.1 An article was written about Rebecca (b. 1827) which shows she was likely born a Hagenbuch, not a Crawford, due to her name appearing with others in this plot on the 1850 census.2 Therefore, it is not clear what happened to Rebecca (Crawford) Hagenbuch after Ramsey died in 1860.
