Geri Kaye Uloth, 42, of Chicago, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru with Rev. Betty Delgado, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Waltham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Geri Kaye was born on July 31, 1970 in Peru to Gary and Cathy (Baker) Uloth. She graduated from IVCC where she studied abroad at Canterbury College in Christ Church, England. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor?s degree in Business Administration. Geri Kaye was an office manager at Solus in Lincolnwood. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in LaSalle.
Geri Kaye was an avid sports enthusiast. She played volleyball, softball, and was in a local bowling league. She was an assistant volleyball coach at IVCC and also a club volleyball coach.
She is survived by her mother, Cathy Jacobs of Utica; her father, Gary (Cynthia Zubowski) Uloth of Dekalb; one sister, Candee (Nicholas) Lawrence of Arlington; her grandmother, Dorothy Baker of rural Mendota.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles W. Uloth, Sr., Lorraine Uloth, and Charles Baker.
