Records show that he married PHILIPINA COLEMAN, November 23, 1806, First Reformed Church; Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
It is now thought that John only had one wife, Philipina “Phebe/Phoebe” Coleman as Susanna (the supposed other wife, was alive at the same time in 1850 per the census).
Confirmed in 1801 at age 16 in Schoenersville Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church records along with his 14 year old sister, Elizabeth.
Death date is an estimate as his wife, Phebe “Hagenback”, is the head of the household in 1840, suggesting he had died.
