Two questions about this John Hagenbuch:
1. Have you see the Zion Stone Church records in person? I've been wanting to go and review these. The transcription I saw didn't list parent names for births, which was a bit odd.
2. Do you have a source on Phebe as a wife? Is it the 1820 census? I'm trying to make sense of the spouses for John.

No I haven't seen the Zion Stone Church records and . In fact I haven't done any of the primary research myself. It was all done by my grandfather's brother back in the 1960s at which time all the siblings of that generation were alive and gave input. So in reality, it is easy to see he confronted issues as he had no last name for Phebe. Here is Here is what my great uncle wrote about the John in question:
"John married Phebe at least 1808 or earlier. (Deed Book B Page 349 Columbia County). They were living in Bloomsburg, December 18, 1812 (Deed Book B, Pages 118, 119, 120, Columbia County."
If these records are too nebulous, I would be happy to remove them.

Oh, and he also did transcribe data from the 1820 Census, listing sex, age range, and several names.

Thanks for explaining! Let's keep it for now since there is a source mentioned. Eventually I'll dedicate some more time to review the primary resources on this. I hope do write an article for Hagenbuch.org about Christian's children in the next few weeks. Thanks again for all the new records you've added :-)

I thought that was odd too! I purposely went back to the record to make it public and it already was. Must have been a stray electron..or something I did unintentionally that caused the setting to go awry. A few times things seem to disappear on me so I did try to go in and double check that all my false starts were deleted. It was a bit of a bumpy learning curve for me!

Thanks, I made a few false starts until I figured out the system. I tried to delete the incorrect ones, but I probably missed that one.

No problem! I am still trying to figure out how you made Robert Hagenbuch private. People who are no longer living shouldn't be able to be made private right now, but some how this one was. Any insight you can provide would be great. Also feel free to post any suggestions or bugs on the Beechroots Facebook page or email info@beechroots.com and I'll review :-)

Just logging that I removed the child "Robert Hagenbuch, 1808–1862" as this didn't appear to lead to anything (possibly deleted?).
