Dolores Clark Born: August 5, 1933 in Peru, IL Died: October 24, 2022 in Winnebago, IL Dolores “Dee” (Challenger) Clark, 89, of LaSalle passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at Prairie View Assisted Living of Winnebago. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru with Rev. J.A. Small of St. Joseph’s Church, Peru officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in LaSalle. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Clark was born on August 5, 1933 in Peru to Edward and Marie (Schloeder) Challenger. She married Harvey S. Clark on November 29, 1952 at St. Joseph’s Church in Peru. He passed away December 1, 2013. She was the Vice President of the mortgage department at LaSalle National Bank. Dolores was a member of ZONTA International, Waltham Curling Club and Wide Waters Yacht Club. She enjoyed boating, gardening and her dogs and cats. She is survived by a brother, Ed (Theresa) Challenger of Freeport; a brother-in-law, James Mitchell of Rockford; three nieces, Pamela Mitchell, Amy Mitchell and Joyce (Damon) Lewis; three nephews, Mark, Paul (Melissa) and John Challenger; nine grand-nephews and two grand-nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey; a daughter, Mary Kay; a sister, Shirlyn Mitchell and a nephew, Eric Challenger.
